So the time has finally come for me to trim my lovely locks in the interest of actually getting a job, and not being a total lazy ass who just drinks, smokes, and parties... then sleeps all day.

So that being said. What kind of hair cut should I get? I'm not really looking to buzz. More stylish, but short.

Any ideas?

it all depends on the shape of your face. Also depends on the job you are trying to get. If its professional, make sure its clean.

I would recommend just going to a nice salon and ask the stylists opinion. Dont go to those 12-15 dollar hair cut places like those ones inside walmart. Usually 22-25 dollars is what I pay for a nice haircut.

I save $15 every 3 days. My hair grows fast and I hate my line-up

actually I find upkeep easier on long hair. aside from having to wash every other day, and use the dryer, I don't have to style it or anything. short hair (other than buzzes) I find to be really time consuming to style. Too long, and it can be a hassle too. I think the best length is where it passes your chin in the front, and just past your shoulders in the back. Yeah man, just go shorter. Just have whoever cuts it even it out with the shorter length. If you go to a supercuts they will give you a mullet for sure.

But I hate haircuts also lol. I used to just buzz my shit at home all the time back in high school, then I decided to let it grow out. Then I made the mistake of trying to get it cut at a supercuts to clean it up, and they ended up giving me a fucked up mohawk. They shaved the fucking sides of my hair and left the top and back long. I looked like one of those crazy euro kids haha.

Now I actually have to pay money to get my hair cut so it looks proper. But it's all good, the chick who cuts my hair is hot :boink:

Brohawk I can relate, I've had longer hair since freshman year of high school. I've gotten cuts in between, although never short short, but this year I decided to get a real haircut, and I've been keeping it cut since then. Can't decide if I want longer hair again or not, even when I decide to grow it out again, I'll have a bad hair day and end up getting an impulse cut. Sometimes I feel as if I've lost my identity, and sometimes I like it.
Expect alt grlz to be unsure if they're supposed to be into you, and you'll have all kinds of mainstreamers throwing their phone numbers at you. However I think most girls our age are starting to be more into the Brad Pitt types instead of the overkill alt cuts.
It seems that long hair was more of a teenage thing, I don't really care if 16-year olds are into me anymore.

I have a barber and a hairstylist.

Use the hairstylist when I need a break from shit. Go in there, shampoo/head massage/hair cut. Expensive, but worth it.

Barber always cuts my hair for a good price and I can bullshit with him. Almost always gives me the old fashion shave with the straight razor for free..and I always tip him well.

Alot better than the high and tights I got as a kid from the PX...
