Which version of XP do you use

i've been using a pretty standard XP pro SP2 install, but i'm about to reformat and i need the best. i need to pass WGA so i can use the Zune software (or WMP11, but i'd rather use Zune), so i can stream to my 360. and a nice Vista skin wouldn't hurt. i'm thinking about using XP Ice 3, has anybody used it?

I use XP Pro SP2 and I love it! But if you wanna play music on your 360, in all honesty its easier to buy an external HD, as long as it has a USB adapter you can simply plug it right into one of the many USB ports and play your music that way

Just stick to what you have. Why mess with success?? Plug your Zune directly to your 360 and play music off of that. That's what I do. The only downside of that is it takes forever to start playing a jam packed playlist...

My zune runs very poorly on my 360 for some reason... and as others said Winamp Remote works, it rapes my bandwidth and i have no idea why =p

yo i used to use an old version of xp pro 32bit *pre SP days* then would patch to sp3 and keep auto updates off.. no validation crap etc
then window blinds and vista transformation pack to make it look like vista.. was smooth as silk..

You should consider finding a 64bit pro version.. so you can have the upgradibility to rock 4gb+ memory.. xp 32 has a cap at 3.5 or so

i know u dont wanna hear it, but now im rocking a legit vista 64bit ultimate that i scored free from microsoft for participating with thier feedback program, sometimes they do seminars as well and you can score a legit copy for free if you show up..
