so im about 6' 1" ish. i have nams super low rails with a bucket seat.
i've got plenty of headroom but my legs are a bit cramped.
even with the sliders all the way back and the brackets mounted with only one bolt to get it another inch or so back its still not quite enough.
i can lean the seat back more which helps some but that just puts my knees into the steering wheel.
i think if i could just get it to sit an inch or two further back it'd be perfect but im at a loss for ideas.
any other tall guys with this setup or anyone have any ideas on how to sit this thing back some? or should i just gangster lean it and rock my steering wheel in the air?
heres a pic of how close it is at the moment.

you most have real long legs and short torso ... im 6' 1" but my upper body iswhats tall not me legs.
Also I"m running bride vios III low max with bride FG rails.. my sterring wheel is the sparco medium dish wheel w. some jdm hub and NRG ver 2 quick release. i plan on getting a super deep dish sparco wheel later this winter so i have a lil more knee room
no current shoots of my setup at the moment.. ill try to take some this weekend

You could make rill big 90 Degree Brackets and drill them way back to give yourself another inch or two. Its hardcore but if you really want it done do it.

I'm with this guy here.
Get yourself a deep dish steering wheel and a quick release, that way you can get in and out of the car easier, and the deep dish wheel and being closer to your body means you'll have more knee room.

WTF do you have a bucket seat without a steering wheel?
I am the same height as you I have Bride FG rails with a Bride seat.
Double check all your bolts that you used to construct the rail and make sure they're not interfering with the sliders.
I had the same rails and with it all the way back, my feet were a good 8 inches from the pedals.

ive checked the rails. they are sliding all the way back. they dont seem like they slide back all that much.
my arms reach the wheel fine. a deepdish and a QR and i think it might be too close to me.
maybe its just the stock wheel and with a smaller one i'd have more room and be fine.

they are sliding all the way back. they dont seem like they slide back all that much.
These two sentences conflict with each other.
Are you sure you constructed the rails correctly? Please post a picture of the sliders themselves, preferably looking up at the bottom of the seat.
If all else fails, remove the rails from the seat and take a pix of the rails in the furthest position away from the wheel.
Let's see what you're working with.

im saying they are slid back as far as the rails will go back, but it seems like that maxed out sliding amount doesnt seem like much.
i even took them off and checked.

Can you take a pix of the rail at max length?

it looks like the end of the rail wont go past the back bolt on the door side from what i can see in this pic. memory is a little fuzzy and the cars 30mins away. ill try to take another picture next time im in it.
