s14 problem

hey. i have an s14 the other day my check engine when one so i scaned my car and it came up with this.
p0505 (iacv-aac valve fault)
po325 ( knock sensor)
i was woundering if anyone can help me fix my problem with the car thanks! by the way its a stock ka

i had mine thrownig a knock sensor code too and i read somewhere on zilvia to use some octane booster then i started using some higher octane gas and it never came back after that.

i have a 96 240 and whenever my check engine light comes on it stays on for about a week or so than it turns off again? does anyone have the same thing happen to them?

Knock sensor can be anything from bad gas, a dirty air filter, fuel filter, etc. rarely is the sensor ever bad, it's just very sensitive. Do a tuneup and run a bottle of injector cleaner/booster in the tank. The IACV fault may have stemmed from that as well, a problem with the air filter. Erase the codes and see what happens in a few days.

i just did a whole tune up..fuel filter oil air filter etc.. iam going to try the injector cleaner and see how that goes.

Same problem and exact same code. I know this post is super old but have anyone else had this problem? seem like op doesnt go on here anymore.
