So pulled my motor, wiring and pretty much everything else in my bay to get it ready for paint.

Only thing I am having trouble getting out is the brake booster.

Don't really want to pry at it and end up bending it up or breaking something.

So just curious how is it supposed to be removed?

Anything underneath the dash that needs to be undone or is it something on the brake booster itself were the BMC went?

Let me know guys its the only thing holding me up from painting the bay.

Come on...

This is simple stuff.

You take the only 2 nuts off of it, which is where the brake M/C is bolted to, and the whole thing just slides out.

Just gotta make sure you've disconnected the brake M/C adjustment rod from the clutch pedal before you yank.

??? The brake master cylinder adjustment rod is connected to the clutch pedal?

Take off the brake master cylinder.
Take off the clevis pin that holds the brake pedal to the booster pushrod.
Take out 4 bolts from inside the passenger compartment.
Take out the booster.

He is sking about theBooster... Not the MC!!

Booster has 4 bolts on the unit itself... the nuts are located on the inside of the car... top of the brake pedal... you will also have to get creative in unthreading the pushrod from the pedal. Needle Nosed Vice Grip should do the trick.

Its alot harder getting the Z32 Booster in place with out scratching or damaging it on the Wheel well. The pushrod is a huge pain in the ass when Installing also.... you will have a bad back when your done!!

Iunno i just think it's odd that you didn't think it would be bolted to the car...very securely.

Oh well. My brain was pretty much done by the time I posted that yesterday.
