I did my search and some relate topic couldnt satisfy my problem im having so here it is. After driving it for more than 30mins or until it heats up in the highway and when I give it full gas my rpm would move but after like 4-5k i dont feel any power after that and sounds like im revving while not in gear?
Some symptoms I think might have to do with this that maybe you cans can advise me on.
OEM clutch line to slave was remove because i busted the thread by the slave and I just reroute a new line from autozone over my tranny down to the slave. So there is nothing holding the line other than to the clutch master and down by the slave. (SR20det)
I readjust the paddle and didnt help.
any ideas or suggestions?
thanks

your clutch is probably toasted
get a new clutch.
if your clutch works off the bat then its not the line for the slave
i made my own. its easy.
if its slipping after getting hot, id guess your clutch is toasty toasty

ahhh forget about this after reReading it 5times i'm going to sleep
I suggest reread your post 5times before actually posting it, very confusing
maybe when I wake up in the morning I could narrow it down for you, right now there is like 10 things I can think of

+1 on toasted clutch.
Easy test: Drive your car 'til everything's up to normal operating temps.
Find an empty, flat parking lot or street somewhere.
While your vehicle is stopped, put your car into 1st gear and hold down the clutch pedal and rev your engine.
If your vehicles starts moving (slowly creeping forward for instance) its time for a new clutch.
Good Luck!

Some facts from the top of my head:
Clutch installed brand new less than 5,000 miles and its barely driven only weekends and summer.
Reused stock flywheel and I didnt get it resurfaced, the guy that installed it said it looks fine
Wanted to clarify this one more time, The new line from the master to slave when I rerouted, there is about 2-3ft of line that goes over my tranny has no support(nothing holding it), wouldnt this cause it to loose pressure/slacks?
When car is still cool temp it drives hard with no problem.

Possibly a problem with the pressure plate when it gets hot?

becuse yoru clutch gets hot and slips
its not rocket science
and NO on the clutch line
like i said, mine is the same way. no support
doesnt do shit. just has fluid run thru it
bleed it well
beyond that, its not the line! espeicaly if ur car drives ok when cold!
how long have u owned a 5 speed? my mom can kill a clutch unbelievably fast
AND if it wasnt adjusted properly then you can kill a clutch ridiculously fast!

ahaha ... I own a 5 speed for 5+ years now its piece of cake.
When you said adjusted, did you mean the clutch paddle? Its hard for me to believe my clutch is shot, not saying your wrong.

the adjuster unit on the pedal
if it wasnt set right it might be engaged enough at start up
but driving its slipping
but maybe not slipping enough for a while
just enough to eat away at it (clutch disc face)
and now its done for.

Are there ways you can check if its adjusted properly?
Speaking of clutch pedal, when I have my ft on the clutch i can feel it shaking or almost like something whinding from either the mastter or the slave .
Im a total newb, feed me in.
