This will probably sound like a silly question in hindsight, but is the nismo unit serviceable? That is, can you (readily) find replacement/additional clutch disks for it?
And yes, how was the event? I hear some relative "unknowns" ended up as top 3... :) No hard feelings, but that's kinda cool, actually.

i think the top 8 deserved it. good drivers... event went very well.
no complaints.. awesome show for everyone. everything is servicable if you can get the parts. but the nismo LSD will outlast ur drive train (tranny/clutch/drive shaft)
