Nissan T28s are 1.25 pitch, and they're both Garrett turbos, so I'd say 1.25 as well.

has any1 snapped these bolts on the top because of being to low?
well i know some of you have had too...
jsut wana know what you did if the bolt was actually stuck and just snapped.?
idk if mine is snapped yet or just completely came out.... bigger chance that it snapped tho. :/
----------------------------------------------------
ALSO....
what would be the means of a boost creep?
MBC set @ 12psi, once 6k rpms comes around and i keep at 100% throttle it goes up to about 18psi.
wastegate spring?
2871r .64
would this be reason of the exhaust not properly connected?
or is that just how shitty MBC's are?

A shitty MBC can definitely cause boost creep.
Are you talking about being too low, scraping the exhaust and causing the turbo outlet bolts to snap? I doubt that's happening...

I got a pack of 10 of the M8x1.25 Class 8.8 studs from McMaster-Carr for a little less than $15 shipped.
A pack of 50 of those stainless steel acorn distortion locking nuts in M8x1.25 was a little less than $10 shipped from them too.

You answered your own question
MBCs suck and really are only good to control boost BELOW some minimum threshold.....so if you don't want to go above 15 psi let's say, set your MBC so that it CREEPS to 15 psi, and you don't blow your turbo
.....the result, it won't hit 15 psi until it gets to the point where it begins "creeping".
This is why EBC is the way to go.....you can allow the boost to come on as quickly or slowly as you want without getting any more than a TINY bit of overshoot (maybe 0.5 psi or something).

thanks.
and yea.. being to low and hitting the exhaust loosens the studs/bolts.
i think i may have just straight snapped one.
1 guy was saying before that he had to tighten those bolts once a week because of the exhaust getting hit so much it would loosen them that much.

yes thats what i'm takling about.
i think maybe 3/5 bolts are holding the exhaust now.

Back when I had the T25 still, I would check those bolts/nuts every weekend.
Tightening them as needed.
Unless you hit everything everywhere, you shouldn't have that problem, as I've only had to tighten it like, 3 or 4 times all year long that I was at the previous ride height, and I scrape here and there, maybe once or twice a day.

yea... i went past the point of tightening them, 2/5 just snapped off... the most top of the 5.
so it's just like open.

Gonna have to drill them out and then run a tab through the threads to make sure they're still good on the housing, then buy new studs like I did.
I replaced all 4 of the studs on the exhaust manifold and 2 of the studs on the turbine housing of the turbo when I had everything off.
New nuts too.
Used those distortion acorn style nuts that are like self locking. Bought them off of McMaster-Carr like I said. Pack of 50 of them, w00t lol
