I need to replace them on my 240 and I was wondering if there is any place to get new ones that is not from Nissan. I'm a poor college student so if i'm going to spend a lot on tierods I would rather buy aftermarket thats better than stock.

I looked into it, it gets pretty expensive.
My opinion is just swap the whole subframe for a non-hicas one. Just buy a subframe with all the arms on it for like 80$ and put it in your car.

i belive if not almost the same length in front i think the only thing you need to use is the original ends. Idk but i could be wrong i tried doing the same thing but never got into it... why do you need to replace them? torn boot or hicas not working..broken tie rod??spl has a great eliminator kit that has oem tie rods on them. alot better than the kazama hicas stopper. Swapping the subframe is probley your cheapest way out if u can find everything for a cheap price but since ur a college student on a budget i assume your going to need your car as dd with little or no down time? unless you've done it before and is a piece of cake for you and have also the right tools then i would leave your hicas system alone.. for the time being.

ok thanks that helps, I'm thinking my best move will be to swap the subframe when I do the SR swap. I'm having the guys at GS motorsport do the swap for me but i'm gathering all the parts.
