I believe this is the temp sensor, but idk where to get another one. It looks as if the bolt broke and was working fine before hand. Are there any aftermarket units that will thread into this or what are my options?

The single prong sender is for the gauge only, you don't really need it as you should have a true water temp gauge already. You can buy an adapter to thread in after drilling/tapping, then fit a standard 1/8" BPST unit in it's place.

What about this Water Feed Adapter (http://www.customsteel.com/sr20/html/body_water_feed_adapter.html)
with this Auto Meter 4337 - Auto Meter Ultra-Lite Analog Gauges - summitracing.com (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ATM-4337&N=700+400442+300168+115&autoview=sku)
it would work too no?
Then I could use the 90 degree bend when I upgrade to braided turbo lines later and just block it off now
or just get this one instead
