I was in contact with Scott from Enthalpy in hopes to get my ECU rom tuned, however, Scott does not tune the SR NA code ecu, and no, not "Naturally Aspirated".

I need to know where to get this thing ROM tuned. I called technosquare but the guy I spoke to didnt sound like he knew what he was talking about. Said they "Should" be able to tune it but their tuner is in Japan until October.

Where can I get my ECU tuned? JWT is a bit pricey. $100 over Enthalpy and their turnaround time is a few weeks. Cant go weeks without my car. Unfortunately I dont have the funds for a Power FC or anything of that sort.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. She needs a tune, bad! Otherwise I might have to put a shitty band-aid on her *cough*
SAFC *cough*..... :sadwavey:

Do a search for Emance on this forum. There's a lot of info on the guy who does the tunes, and experiences people have had with them. Very inexpensive compared to JWT and Enthalpy.

I'm not endorsing it because I haven't used his tunes, but it's an option you should consider; read through the thread and figure out for yourself what you want to do.

What exactly do you mean she needs a tune bad? As in it is running less than stock performance? That requires a tune up.

Tuning wise I would highly suggest going with JWT.

PS. Don't ever use an AFC, I would rather pee in my gastank than install one of those on a car.

Tune as in Ive got bigger injectors and its running pig rich. Wont rev past 4k rpm since it chokes up and black smoke blows everywhere. I checked emance and I found that he doesnt tune 96-98 SR20DET motors unless you have a 91-94 ECU with harness coversion. I dont have that nor do I want to do that.

I think its gonna have to be JWT. Looks like they do tune this ecu. Im gonna call them in a few minutes.

Does anyone know what is so different about this ecu?
