Considering that my r32 vlsd diff is around 15 years old and is going to be used alot more than just daily driving, what kind of fluid would be recommend(nissan recommend pennzoil 80w-90). First, since it is a viscous lsd the diff oil can be expected to reach higher temps than a clutch type because of the tendency for the inside wheel to spin considerably more untill the vlsd unit reacts? With this in mind would I want to consider a synthetic gear oil to accomodate for the harder driving and and old age?
