Yep, house centipede. I had those things all the apartment I used to live in, fucking nasty. They're quick and their legs start falling off when they die. More than once I've gone to squish one, and it'll pop some legs off and keep running.

they don't really bite unless they get sandwiched against you, or if you try to pick them up by hand. dumping him from the koozie to the jar was fine

also, only like.. a quarter(?) of people who get bit have the gross reaction where stuff falls off.

Jesus fucking christ.

I HATE "NiƱo's de la tierra".

I was drinking at this chicks place one night in her back yard, both of us alone.

I was more than buzzed, but not quite drunk yet.

I felt something crawling on my leg...sure enough, one of those bastards was on me.

Ran like a little fucking girl.

I then went back to the scene of the crime where I was raped by a potato bug...there was a TON of them EVERYWHERE.

Every 3-4 feet, another one was crawling along.

Not to mention she has a big fucking back yard, so I could only imagine how many were back there.

I got a shovel and started beheading them.

i'm almost confident i've had a brown recluse bite at some point in my life. i've had a couple bites where i couldn't find the culprit, and i got a little sweaty and/or increased heart rate, but no dead skin..

Lol. Thats the great thing about missouri. You know, thats not the only one in your house. I regularly see them chillin in the corners of walls, and I've been bitten by one. Shit sucks. Funny story though.

I was gone for a week, came home, thought "shit. I should wash my blankets. There's prolly spiders in there." But I didnt.

I jumped into bed, and had a dream someone poked me in my side with a pencil at schoo. Wake up, and theres a big red area. Next morning its got the bulls eye thing going, hit up the doctor, he gives me some meds, its all good.

now I've got a dime sized scar on my right side, right near my kidney.

yeah, it disappeared behind the TV stand pretty soon. Needless to say, we gave the tv stand a fairly wide berth the rest of the week. Thankfully, the room was big (time-share condo)
