i had my fingertip chopped off, clean through the bone and nail.

they TAPED mine back on, and in about 3-4 weeks it attached itself back on. a few weeks after that, the skin forms a shell and falls off. I still have mine saved somewhere, LOL

but yeah. your fingerprint is gonna be fucked up, and it takes a long time for nerves to grow back in.
