I didnt think this would fit in the tech forum, so I am asking here.

I want to turbo my E, but I am still saving up.

What I want to know is what benefit will upgrading my stock injectors and fuel pump do for me without doing anything else? I am trying to think ahead for the turbo install, get each thing done one piece at a time, etc.

Would there be a benefit? Or would it be stupid?

0% benefits, 1000% stupid. It is pointless to upgrade your injectors or your fuel pump without an ECU. The most it would do is make your car run like shit because the older computers are too stupid to figure out that there are bigger injectors and it needs to reduce the pulsewidth.

Thank you. In that case, I should probably get myself an SAFC then, if I am too cheap to get an ECU.

whats the point of the injectors if you dont put on that turbo?
no that safc is wasting your money ayways

cheap ass 'turbo' build it what i see in your future
save up
buy parts
and put them on when you have EVERYTHING ready.

If you use the stock fuel maps on the upgraded injectors, the upgraded injectors would run at the same rate your old injectors would run at, flooding your cylinder chambers with excess fuel.
