Ok first, my lighting on my S14a sucks. So I did have 100w bulbs in the foglights until the 4th bulb on the passenger side blew out.
I took out the foglights cause I would like to buy some aftermarket driving lights that are primarily yellow for rainy weather.

But my question is would it be a bad idea to put my foglights in the oven to take off the glass and then cut off the bulb shielding and just put regular yellow 55w bulbs in??

I would like to know the downside and upside and if it would actually help me out at all.

Any recomendations on DRIVING lights to complement my regular lights?? Preferably yellowish to stock color. None of that blue/purple sh*t

I always thought that the foglights in the S14 were purely cosmetic. If you cut the bulb sheilding you will not have any light....or is that the reflector?

If you have 97/98 foglights you can sell them to me and buy some PIAA foglights.

just a suggestion, why don't you just buy an extra set of driving light for your car instead of taking out the stock foglight and replace it i mean to me there is no such thing is too much light on the road just as long as the light are not aim toward upcoming traffic and cause any accident.

Well thats not a bad idea but, Im not one for a cluttered bumper but that maybe the only choice.

Oh yeah and I already did what I said above and now I tried it out (without the glass back on it mind you) and now I get no light what so ever. So i think the shield is a part of the ground maybe?? I dunno though but I am gonna keep trying.
