I've got the injen intake and i know you'll all tell me to get the c.a.e. but i don't want it. So i was think of rigging a sort of ram air system by running a piece of ventelation hose from the drivers side vent under the turn signal through the fender well and up through the hole and like somehow attach near or on filter. Any ideas like if this would even work, or like how to do it.
Thanks

I do not know if this will help you but it should point in the right direction especially if you have a S13.

Maybe you can rig something with a vented hood? Have you seen the CAI for the civics that sit where an intercooler would sit? I think it is made by Aerospeed. It is called a cold front mount intake. You can find them for sale somewhere on http://www.speedandstyle.com or aerospeeds website, which I do not know.

yes icer, ANY means of getting outside "cold air" to ur cone filter is better than the warmer engine compartment air. any kind of flexible tube will work as long as it fits thru the fender well etc. not much of a HP gain but everything helps!

go to the 240sx car club of america site then go to the installs and theres one spot where they show you how to cut a hole in your "bumper" and run a hose up to your intake  its cheap and not very noticable from the outside  really cant tell if it gave me any hosepower "I did it"

like i said before i got a 91 so i already have a vent under the turn signal. I just want to know if its possible to run a hose from that to my filter.and the best way to do it.
