Alright, I'm about to purchase the GC Coil-Overs with Eibach springs and KYB AGX shocks and was wondering if anyone knew what the highest spring rate the AGX's can handle. Thanks

Ive never read anything that quotes the limit in spring rates it can handle but I hade the 5Zigen R-Rate springs that lower 1.3 front and 1.1 rear with a 290F/280R Spring rate and all worked well although it seemed after 1.5 years of Colorado roads the shocks didnt function as well as when they were new.

What spring rate were you thinking of getting?

I'm looking at between 350-450lbs/in front and back. Is that too harsh for AGX's? I want a stiffer setup but don't want it to be too harsh on the AGX's that they get weaker or possibly even blow. But I know AGX's have some kind of lifetime guarantee, can't remember what was for though.

I know AGXs are capable of taking about 400 with other applications (shocks though, not struts). I'd imagine the thresholds would be roughly the same. Koni Yellows can generally take 450.

So would 400 front and back sound alright? I'm looking for a setup where the back will be more rigid and easier to break loose. Stiffness wise, are the Koni's stiffer than the AGX's? Ok, I just looked up the price and I'd rather get the AGX's. As long as it can handle 400 I'll be happy.
