Well, I understand that these is already a "San Diego" meet in progress..

but how about a south county get together?

I know for some of us the drive to Mira Mesa is rediculous, and gas isn't really cheap like water.

So I'm proposing a once a week, hang out for us southerners.

Location will probably be where the old chula vista meets were taking place, which is in the Sunbow shopping center (where the mcdonalds is, east palomar street and medical center drive).

It is relatively local to the IB, San ysidro guys, and also for the National City, and Central Chula Vista guys.

Just a thought though, I know I would like to meet other local Zilvians..

That was a separate occasion. They had the right to open my hood then cause I owned some ladies bush on my way to your house :snoop:... that didn't sound right. A southside meet sounds cool. Me and the AE86 guys used to have them @ LolliCup then we started moving them around between that spot and then by Island's off of Telegraph. We been hit up by the CVPD when we were chilling at both spots and we all were respectful and he just said he needed to check what we were up to cause its his job. Not necessarily Thurs Knight Meets but yeah, it was a meet on Thursday in very close proximity to where you have your meets. The stuff in regards to trash is the same thing I mentioned to Ted. There was trash in the parking lot when we left so everyone's gotta clean up after themselves. The spot is perfect though. We could always roll out to another location nearby...its always cool rolling out super deep, although it may attract some attention but as long as we dont do dumb shit, we should be fine. I'll bring my DSLR for the next meet :)

ok, just to touch on that thread in SDdrift. that has been there for over a yr and we have been going to that spot for over a yr with no problemos.
since we are throwing an event next weekend we are organizing a meet at that regular old school spot.
I dont know who told you guys about that spot but I was under the impression that everyone kind of knew we already have been having car meets there for the past yr. and if you didnt know, now you do.
not a big deal at all. we hope to meet some new faces actually and have one big meet I guess since there are more people showing there.

as for the s14s I think they were from temecula and YES they did pull some ricer BS leaving the parking lot. ALSO, not a big deal because that was like 6 months ago! who really cares?

one problem I am seeing is lack of communication between us all. hope that cleared some of this up and we hope to see you guys there in the future!

It's the same shopping center but different parking lot. I don't know if that makes sense. I don't think it qualifies as a thursday knights meet cause it's not in the same exact place.

These are two separate meets that two separate groups of enthusiasts chose to have in the same vicinity. If the thursday knights choose to assemble their team meet at the new meet spot I think it would be awsome. Last week my buddy with his SRT forum buddies were gonna assemble in the exact same spot. Before the knights showed up... Team Impact used to assemble at that parking lot with no actual weekday emphasized.

It's a PARKING LOT. It belongs to someone who can walk up and tell us to get the f*ck off so let's keep it clean, keep it low.

We give out prizes at our events to the drivers that register for our events from these companys to help EVERYONE with the parts they need for thier car to also , get better at drifting as a symbol of what we are all about (help one another improve with haste). Soon we will also be running the lowest cost events on the west coast since gas prices are so damm high these days.

Most all of the people that seem to have something negative to say dont even go to drifting events and have no interest in the sport anyways so in turn we will not waste our time with immature comments back and fourth.

I'm sure those of you that we have chilled with in the past and those that are signed up for some of our events have nothing negative to say.

Yup...yet another good turnout last night. As for the cop, he was chill. I spoke to him for about 5 minutes. Told him we're all on a forum and meet up here to talk, hang out and stay out of trouble. He asked if anyone raced, I said no or not that I know of. He looked around and then asked if any of us go to RaceLegal. I said, not me...not sure about everyone else though. He said, I think I recognize some of these cars...yeah, some of these guys race. Then we chit chatted a bit more...I asked him how his night was so far...blahblahblah. He said he had 3 calls about people congregating (spelling?) in the parking lot. I told him I worked for the County and not to worry...we're all responsible and everyone knows the rules. He said thats cool and to keep everything in check or to call if anything goes down (racing, etc.). I said okee dokee and we went our separate ways. Hope you all enjoyed my story...:)

But seriously, yeah...thats what we talked about. So we're good to go as long as everyone acts right and keeps things cool. Next meet I'll be sure to bring my camera. Again, good turn out guys. I see. I work for the Library overseeing the IT stuff and ensuring NG is on the ball getting our requests completed and testing the new XP image for our department on both staff and the public network. Not as fun as I am used to but it pays the bills.

eh since people might bring stuff to buy, would anyone be interested in dual mishimoto 12 inch fans and powered by max s14 rucas? lol. 120obo for the fans and 160obo for the rucas.

vanilla cone? i think it's time to invest in those 5 dollar unnecessarily large 7-11 slurpee cups with 1 dollar refills lol, well with an extending hot summer there comes an unbearable winter haha.

If they're thinner than the fans I have now and move air equally well or better I might be interested...I'll take a look at them.

Oh and you reminded me..when I was at a gas station in Utah on my way home from buying my S14, some shot-out guy came in with a 64 oz. plastic mug and filled it all the way to the tip-top with Pepsi. It made me want to puke watching him. I bet he drinks at least one a day too.
