Details: Mikey of Superior, Sam from Jspec, Kevin and Myself are putting on a 240 only meet...This is going to be a 'throw-back' if you will to the old Shine St. Meets. There will be media there, vendors, and a possible "garage sale" of used parts and as far as food we are working on that. There will be more to come, but, we wanted to get this out early so everyone can plan to attend!

NO Shenanigans, NO spirited driving, NO Drama! This is meant to be a FUN event for everyone to chill. All parking will be arranged and assigned. There will be a photoshoot, and the only cars parked for the photos will be 240's. If you roll to the event, and are not in a 240, then you will be asked to park in a different area.

This is meant to be a chill 240 meet where we get together and check out each others' cars. Nobody is impressed by immature antics - all it does is serve to make everybody else look bad.

For they are the reason these type of meets happen, they won't risk driving their on-going projects on the streets.
These guys/gals have spent a lot of money and time on these Project Monsters. The worse thing you can do is come and act a like "Fucken Tard" and embarrass yourself as a NISSAN 240SX owner.

If you are a die hard (I read you guys on here) then start acting like it.

I went to a supercar meet once and the energy level was up, but tuned.
The noise level was smooth and calm, people were meeting eachother and having conversations by their cars. It was one of the most pro-meet I have ever been too. They Really met others and were building their Gay-Space friend list left and right.

Man, I sure would love to see that from us 240sx onwers at this meet.

I hope to meet you guys and if there are any of you local in the 562,714,310 guys that want to roll to this and show our stregth as 240sx owners, we leave LBC DTC at 9:00am. Maps will be handed if you need one. Pictures and Video will be taken, filming starts there.

I've been talking to you via PM about this, but I wanted to leave the info in this thread in case more want to meet in 818 or 805.

From what I hear there is about 15-20 for the 818 area already, which will probably end up meeting at the 818 weekly meet spot at White Oak (or Lindley, can't remember) and Saticoy spot to head down together. Speak with xfallen1x for more details on this as he seems to be handling it.

For the 805 peeps, you guys can either meet up in the 805 or come down to the 818 meet spot. If you meet up in the 805, we can probably arrange to meet you guys in the 818 (likely off the 118 or 101) and all go together. I don't know who is trying to organize the 805 meet up.

I don't foresee any problems per say, but that doesn't mean that someone won't get pulled over. If someone acts like an idiot, there is always that chance. Peer pressure works, if you see someone acting like an ass, correct them. (not in the beat their ass kind of way either).

i know this is old to quote, but lisa that would be great!! i was like 18-19 but man those where great times, i felt the community was awesome back then. all the socal240sx summer meets and bbqs etc. When everyone just comes together to enjoy their cars.. its a lil different now, the drift craze has made some people cocky and attitudes changed. Im still hoping there could be a return of the 240sx convention. I remember people wanting to host it in other states, but those all failed. Shouldnt be hard to stir one up out here in socal again.

I may be wrong, but back in the day people met because they shared a common interest. In this case, I think it had something to do about uhm.... owning a 240, being knowledgeable about the car, or even liking the car! Imagine that...

I guess nowadays, its all about showing off.. who has the best of the best.
