From crap brown interior to THIS. (My summer project completed) 56k NO~

we'll, I bought my 240 before the summer and decided I'd tackle the interior first. It came with brown interior and coffee stained carpet. though the dash and panels were real clean, I felt it needed to go. Sooo, I picked up a complete black interrior and set to work to create my ideal S13 interior.
I was gonna do the digi climate control mod..but figure I'd attempt it later. heh

it's interesting. The pictures make the carpet look a lot brighter blue than it really is. it's more of a royal blue than the electric blue it looks like in these. as for where I got the carpet, from http://www.aabestco.com they do custom moulded carpets for all kinds of makes and models. Real friendly aswell..they sent me up some different fabric samples to choose from.

Not sure how I'm gonna handle running mismatched door panels till I can find the right ones, but meh. Oh and the new dash is 1,000,000,000,013.4 times better than my brown dash. As for the OP, not my thing... I hope you don't drive it around with it lit up like that. Way too bright. Also the door panel inserts look pretty jacked, but it's understandable, as they're a pain to recover being con-caved. I'm dreading reupholstering mine, but. *shrug* At least your happy with it... just too HIN for my OEM taste.

Yes, the leds need to go. More than anything anyway. The pattern on the door skins isn't all that appealing either. Perhaps matching the door panels with the leather seats would be better. The chrome/metal accents on the steering wheel and center console look neat, but excessive on the air vents. These days, the trend is towards "clean" cars.

Still, you have the skill to do whatever you want to. On my own doors, I just ripped off the tweed and put on some armor all. It's about the extent of my abilities. Try working on your engine bay next. Just clean and polish things and check out the props you'll get.

Well, *personally* I don't think it is the lights, as even in Japan, lights are kinda cool to have in moderation (I have a few for my car), but, with that said...tone them back a little and personally for me it was the door panels that killed it. you know what man, I couldn't agree more. I've been looking at everything and reading everyones comments. The shoulder pads don't match the blue carpet and actually cheapen the look. as well I had some left over black fabric so I did a mock up on the passenger in all black with white trim and I think it looks a lot cleaner.

Ps: the seats are really nice and comfy, but how'd you figure they were cheapo? xD

There's plenty of info on this already. Nismo does not make a seat except for the BNR34 upgrade that sells for about $1800 each. Anything else with Nismo on it is pure shit made in Taiwan. They may be better than your old worn out OE seats but that's like saying catching gonorrhea is better than catching HIV. You still don't want either one.

No doubt our "cultures" do differ to a point, and were usually are about a year behind trends compared to the U.S. For example the JDM and now VIP styling that is just starting to catch on. and I 100% agree with the difference in weapon laws, drinking age and related topics changing the mindset of people.

Anyways, my point was we dont race around in 9-second-limegreen eclipses with neons, 5ft. spoilers, flying floor panels and fryd piston rings becuase of DANGER TO TEH MANIFOLD!!!!!

Seriously tho, the new rice up here is like stock R32's. EVERYONE has them. They're always black. IF they do have wheels, they were most likely purchased off the shelf of a tire shop. Just brutal.

Sounds like shes pretty set, lol. Rallying in Alaska.. fuk that would be a blast, I bet they'll be pretty damn good drifting your car, maybe even better then you.... Rally drivers are crazy skilled.

back in 02 i did the white center console /steering column thing and it was pretty sweet back then with a nice head unit.. then in 04 i sprayed it all black..

Times have changed and now the trend is more clean simple japanese tune influence.
