Im stitch welding my chasis and was wondering what the best way to remove the interior/engine bay adhesive.

I was thinking some type of stripper but Im not sure what kind.:wan:
dry ice and a mallet for sound deadening
if you're talking about glue residue you could use many different products ranging from gasoline to a citrus based cleaner like goo-gone

I already removed sound deadener, it was a pain but worth it.
and yes im talking about the glue residue.
anyone else chime in on how they removed the glue residue?

put a wire wheel on your grinder and have at it, it'll do 2 things at the same time . 1 remove the glue in the seam, 2 clean up the metal.
wear a mask so you aren't breathing the dusty glue crud

sounds like a better option, time to go to Harbor freight =)
