Again, this is only me testing waters. If the price is right, it's time to watch my baby go away and let her take a spin with someone else behind the wheel. I'm in no rush to sell, and if it doesn't, I definitely wouldn't be heartbroken, but there are a million other projects that I would love to have my hands on...
A FULL writeup and build thread can be found HERE (http://zilvia.net/f/chat/171674-goon-build-ka-datsun.html) listing every last modification that's been done, with details and pictures covering them all. Also included will be a new set of stiffened/lowered leaf springs for the rear, a new windshield and a carpet kit that's already been installed (pictures forthcoming!).

This car has been a blast since the day I bought it from my brother, and I love it to pieces! I really wouldn't be upset if it didn't sell, but like I said, there's a ton of different things that I want to get dirty in (ha ha, not like that pervs!). I made sure to take my time with this car and do things properly. Anything that makes the car tick has pretty much been taken off, gone through, painted/powdercoated/otherwise beautified, and put back on with new hardware. It's been extremely reliable (save for axle shafts! btw this has been addressed and semi-fixed), and hasn't given me any issues in the past few months. It turns heads wherever I go (just ask the ladies!!), and draws a lot of love.
Obviously, there's still some work that needs to be done, but for the most part, it's a super solid daily driver that'll get you from point A to B in whatever time span you need, and make people (especially the older crowd) smile every day!
I'm located in Sacramento, so if you want to meet up to take a look at the car, leave me a PM or a reply with your number and we can work something out. Delivery may be possible within limit, again just hit me up and we can talk about it.
After looking through my receipts, and coming up with estimates, I found that the car is worth WAY more in paper than people would ever pay! Haha, I brought it down a bit, and came up with $6,500, semi-negotiable. Looking on craigslist, I found some that are in similar shape, going for about 6k without a rebuilt or swapped motor. Finding one that is completely rust free and well documented, however, makes me think that my price is probably fair. I'm not 100% sure if I'm selling yet, so any offers will at least be entertained (within reason, guys!), and trades MIGHT be welcome, let me know what you have.
EDIT: I should also mention that the car will come with a different set of wheels (you might have a choice in the matter). The Hayashi's will stay in the family for a while longer. The gold snowflakes or possibly some XR-4's will come with the car, unless you're willing to work out a deal for the Hayashis.
EDIT2: For those that didn't read the thread, the hood that WAS on the car (red and white Rising Sun with the scoop) is trash, and that's also the reason the windshield will need replacing. It's been replaced with a nearly perfect hood and painted all red to match the car.
