i kinda got my self into a sticky situation.. i met this guy with a wrecked 240.. he has some parts... rims stock (s14 BTW), hubs, rotors, and vlsd.. how much should i offer him? depending on condition.. i just want a rough estimate... but insted of buying those parts... should i stick to my sr plans? i wont be able to swap it untill the summer (highschool student)... and thats when ill be making big money anyways.... so.. what would you do? buy the stuff... and for how much... or just keep saving....
note: i have a base s14 95
thank you for any replys.. and if you want you can flame me for trying to give my car a lil better look (rims) (i seem to be the only one who likes them anyways).... it dont matter.. just as long as i can get a honest answer...

Honestly, I think you should save your money. I've bought a couple of cars on impulse and it's really not worth it, ESPECIALLY for a high school student like yourself. Take it from me, I was in that same situation not too long ago....:)
Just my $0.02....

I think he's just looking at buying the VLSD and rims from the car, since it's wrecked. Personally, I'd go for it. I can't tell you how much it'll cost though because I haven't priced those parts out before.

Shoot for $700 or less. (VLSD $250, 5-Lug parts $300, rest for rims and tires).

ask how much miles were on the car. some guy tried to sell me front hubs off of a 95 SE for $250 for 2, they had 100k+ miles...what the hell is that all about. brand new hubs at the dealer was 140 each = $280 for 2. just be careful when you buy some used stuff. check your options first. i say screw all that and just get the LSD no more than $300
