you should be fine. i don't run any oil in my sr. you get more power out of it that way... but just to be safe you should take the drain plug out, that way you know there is no oil contaminating the parts.

did the low pressure idiot light come on? I'd say just fill her up with oil and drive it.nothing you can really do about it now right? hopefully no knocking..just mild engine wear.

id throw some oil in and find out, i drove my k/a 2 quarts shy of oil and with no coolant and it lasted a couple weeks, i drove my infinti g20, (sr20) for prob 3 weeks a quart shy of being full, no problems i did notice some slight cam marks when i took the motor apart. but any how i wouldnt worry too much , just throw some oil in there

Really like everyone else said no way to tell without cranking it back up. Throw oil in there and meet your fate.

As long as it was low load, you really should be fine, becuase you didn't drive with no oil, just leaked out as you drove.

honestly in my opinion, if you had a little less than 2 quarts and you didnt drive it hard, you are safe

I drove around with a leaky crank seal for a few months toward the end of my s14's old motor's life in the car... and one day I noticed the chain was kinda noisy... turns out I was three quarts low. Filled her up and she was gravy again. The motor didn't knock or anything, it was just tired

I put oil in it today and it sounds ok I guess. I think the starter hit my oil gauge line and tor it. Now I have a loose feeling clutch pedal, barely engagment, and it sounds wierd. Im tinkin throwout bearing, off to the search. Thanks for the help and know all.:bigok:
