where can i get this tool from? this is needed to remove the stock steering wheel. sears? discount auto parts?

for a 240? just use a tire cross.

He's talking about the torx bits that hold in the airbags on S14s.

You can get them anywhere that sells tools related to cars and sometimes the hub comes with it.

sears thats where i got mine, or homedepot its just a torx set.

Sears has them.

Just make sure it's a Tamper Proof torx 50 and not a regular torx 50.

The difference is the Tamper proof one has a hole in the center while the regular one doesn't.

or just take a grinder to the center and use a big flathead screwdriver :)

Then go to lowes or homedepot, Get a torx set, if it doesnt work return it.

i used vicegrips and got mine off some what easily angled in

snap-on, mac, matco. or like someone said, either grind or break off the nub in the center so a standard torx bit will work.

Snap-On bit cost me $15 about 5 years ago. LMK if you are interested as it has been sitting there in the bin of "tools I have only used a couple of times"...haha

You may or may not be talking about the same thing. S14 airbag removal and the Security Torx Bits that are being used. Unless yours was already gutted and they swapped out the torx for standard hex nuts.

go to an auto parts store that sells tools and ask for tamper proof torx. I got mine from Canadian Tire..but your in the usa ..good luck

Sears has been mentioned, but a Google search tells me that they sell it for $3.99...
I am willing to bet that is the way to go

harbor freight sells a socket kit with security torx....

they also have a security bit set that has all the tamper proof bits in it..
