Hey guys my name is Michael, and I will be moving to the Phoenix area for school soon and just wanted to know how the whole 240/drifting scene is there? Right now I live in Kansas City and I hope its a lot better there than it is here lol. Also if there are any phoenix 240/drift forums that you guys could let me know about I would really appreciated it. I will be going to school in Avondale. Thanks for the help.

Watch your shit cuz it will get jacked in Avondale. UTI right? Peeps are shady out there. My stereo got jacked 3 weeks after I moved there. Check out AZ240sx.com. PIR is in Avondale and NASA holds autoX there, but their are also drift events. I would go there and watch em for free. Well good luck.

I will be moving to the Phoenix area...
I am VERY sorry for you.

Two things:
Firstly, Phoenix sucks. I can't compare their 240/drift scene to the KC scene, but compared to the Socal scene, it sucks floppy donkey cock.

I hated Phoenix. I give it two big thumbs down. Waste of time; will never return (except to get my shit outta storage).

Secondly, UTI SUCKS.

Waste of money. Get the same education (or better) at a local community college for 1/10th of the price.

Good luck to ya.

haha, bump from the dead lol, so the drift scene is really that bad here? And to those of you that have gone to UTI do you think it's a waste of time? I will not be going there to really learn much more about cars, but rather as an a job opportunity. As far as I know UTI is a lot more reputable especially if you go through there electives. Wether there level of education is any better then a community college I dont know, but there placement seems to be much better.

IMHO a Manufactured Endorsed program at a CC is better then UTI.
