89-90 Carborator, info

I have been looking into carbs for my 90 240sx, what all do i need to do this, also, has anyone done it on the forum. If possable could i get some stats like tourqe gain, hp gain, ect ect.

what you need: nissan motorsports manifold, a couple Mikuni PHH-series sidedraft carburetors with air horns, some sort of air filter setup to fit over the air horns, throttle linkage, fuel system mods, and a standalone ignition box.

Power and torque gains depend on tuning. With an otherwise stock engine you probably won't see any gain at all (if not a loss), since the stock cam, head ports, and low compression are all designed to take advantage of the long runner, large plenum intake manifold to make low to mid range torque. Basically it's a useless mod without high compression slugs and a lumpy cam to shift that torque band up around 6000+ rpm.
