well im looking into buying some rims right now. im looking for rims that will clear BOTH 30mm z32 calipers and coilovers [Zeal B6s]
im looking at Advan G2s right now and wondering which offset should i get. im looking at the size of 17s
17x8.5 offset: 45, 37, 30
17x9 offset: 45, 43
17x9.5 offset: 38, 24
those are the sizes im looking at. im not sure which width im going wtih but those are the 3 widths im looking at, im not even totally sure you can even run a 9.5 width, that will give you a flush look w/o having fender flares. if i have the 30mm calipers and zeal B6s coil overs which offset should i run in these setups for a FLUSH look!
17x8.5F
17x9R
17x8.5F
17x9.5R
17x9F
17x9.5R
which offset should i pic for those setups for a flush look? those are the only offsets they have for the rims, and the ones they show on the Main site.
TIA
looking forward to "Douson36" post about this:)
EDIT: i like that staggered look [ie 17x8F 17x9R] something like that, and also fatter width in the rear look

I would just go 17x8.5 +30 all around. Makes it nice and easy and it will look good.

I'm curious about the same thing. I am buying a set of CE28N 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 I have Tein HE's and 300ZX TT brakes.
30mm all the way around?

HEY FOCKER! you could at least spell my SN correctly! HAHA i kiiiiiill you!!!
i dont know brake clearance stuff but
go w/ the 9 and 9.5 setup
you are S14. if you go smaller, why? its pointless! s14 is badass for size. and i know you'll have the power soon (if yo udont already)
offsets..damn
those choices are PUSSY! get mid 20s and low 30s if you can. that 40 crap even on 9.5 is weak. you KNOW you wont be running 0 or near 0 camber. at least -1.5 to 2 i assume!
go +24 on the 9.5, you can fit that with some camber. i can roll your fenders later too bud
and fronts..slim pickins
+43 but that SUCKS. R33 GTR is +30 and needs some camber. but it might be ok, small spacer can take it down the like +38 BUT i THINK you need +20 on a 9" for the zeals to clear. SMALL BRACKET sucks!
dorifto has +25 (5mm spacer) on a R33 GTR wheels and it BARELY clears the coilover on his FLta2! (fronts of course, rear is A-ok)

i'd say
17x8.5 offset: 30
17x9.5 offset: 24
or 17x9.5 all round because i like the offset
and Zbrakes fitment depends on spoke designs rather than offset, altho offset does help the fitment a bit
