I don't see anything in the FSM on it, and before I try to take it off myself I wanted to find out if I can adjust it at all.

It seems to be angled down slightly when I look at the side of the fender to where it meets the bumper.

*update*

jesus...second update here of work I should have just done myself to begin with. Unfortunately this job was through insurance so I had to pay for it (ultimately).

I checked http://www.courtesyparts.com/240sx-parts-s14-1995-1998/genuine-nissan-parts/bodyfrontroof-floor/620-front-bumper/-c-3690_3691_3803_3804.html and found there are definitely two brackets that should be able to hold the cover tightly to the body (parts 62673P and 62674P). I took my car back to the body shop with the print out and they said they'd check it out.

Well they did fix it a bit better and told me that's as good as it gets. They said both brackets were there.

Driving a bit and the bumper was back down again...I had already ordered all these parts to tackle the job myself anyway (along with all the right bolts and screws instead of generic ones) so I did it myself and sure enough neither bracket was there. The screws were doing nothing to hold the bumper cover at all.

If you do run into this yourself (kouki conversions I have seen, I know why they have the same gap), it's easy to just take out the front fender splash shield and the corner lights to do it. There are 2 bolts from under the car and one in the front at the corner light. You also have two push pins on each side that just hold the bracket to the cover I think and really do nothing structurally it seems...I'd recommend buying them anyway as they are an odd width and length. Once that was done the whole front of the car looks right on now. Nice tight seams again.

If you have done a Kouki conversion and you have that little bit of sag like my photo above shows, check for the brackets being in place. You should be able to see a black piece of metal under the bolt at the corner lights that goes from it straight back to the wheelwell.

It's not adjustable per say, but you can adjust it manually by working it a bit. There's a steel brace that sits underneath the bumper cover ledge that screws goes through, it can be bent or tweaked a little. On Zenki cars I remove the bracket altogether and drill another hole in the flat ledge just behind the corner light and secure the bumper with a nut/bolt instead of a screw into a plastic clip, it holds a LOT tighter to the fender. With the cover of you'll see what I'm talking about.

My kouki bumper is tweaked just the same way. You need to adjust it by drilling new holes and running nut/bolt through it.

Actually I see that spot...my driver's has a black push pin in it, the passenger side has nothing.

It would be nice if a body shop could do things right the first time :)
