Everyone knows Metallica, The Eagles, ETC.

But in 25 or so years, what do ya'll think will be the classics you'll never forget from this era of rock (90s to 00-ish, 80's for some people).

For me its Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Those are two of my all time favorite rock bands.

So true. I see very few bands that will stand the test of time like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Shit 100 years from now I still see people saying PF and LZ rock.

has anyone noticed they are slowly sneaking in REM, Nirvana, and even P.O.D. (yeah, P.O.D.) on to classic rock stations?

It's sacrilegious.

Haha WTF? Was that on Big 105.9? The "newest" I've heard on there is Guns N Roses, and thats where it pretty much stops.

From the 90s?

Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Sublime, though it's not really rock, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins

I know I'll still be listening to these bands 20 years from now. Hell, I've already been listening to most of them for 15 years.
