I recently acquired a 91 240SX. The car is in good condition EXCEPT for the rear hatch. Some fool botched the install of the OEM spoiler and there are some nasty rust holes in the hatch. I might be able to get the, filled, but if the price isn't too bad, I would much rather replace the thing.

Anyone know the best way to get a replacement, aside from a junkyard?

Please don't tak offense to this but DUH!

How bout this... I'm one of these silly people who would rather spend to the extra money to buy one that I know would be in good condition.

How wouldn't you know if it was in good condition if you CHECKED it before you bought it from a junkyard?

All the OEM spoilers do that... it just happens, it's because it's made out of foam and not properly sealed.

J/Y stuff works great. When you're shopping for one make sure to get one without a spoiler.

hehe, I don't offend often :P

I guess our main point is that you're gonna be hard pressed to find one new, anywhere, at all. . . Unless you know somebody who can work with sheet metal or fiberglass who will do one for you. . .

hmm. i guess some fool botched EVERY install of the USDM foam spoiler on every fastback made in the us... or maybe nissan just pushed a ****ty option. either way, look in the junkyards or go to a part recycler. or just get it rebuilt at a body shop. bondo doesn't work, don't kid yourself.
