I am getting a '93 coupe, and need to know where I can get a more powerful alternator.

i dont know about the requisite strength, but i would assume that the VG30 alternator (from a 300zx or maxima) would be compatible, and easy enough to find. does naybody know if it has more cranking strength? thats the only one i could really think of

stinger audio as well as other audio companies make higher output alternators that will last

ya stinger is the best for hight output alt's
How big of a system are you building? Aftermarket alternators cost $$. I was using the stock alt. 1 farad capacitor, w/1300 watts (3) Orion amps and a secondary gel cel battery. On a 89' s13 without any probs.
