R & D factory I am pissed

Here goes in the past year and half Ive spent over 6k at this place, 5 months ago I bought an engine (rb25det)from edward, over the phone I called several times and was told a mint rb25det clip is in stock, either way I put down half the money to hold the motor and told them I would pick it up in 3 weeks from ohio, I stuck to my word and when my father was in california in his semi he picked it up for me. I get the clip a week later, and was told it was missing IAC, alternator, coilpacks , harness blah blah blah I get a recipt from buckey saying what all it was missing and was told I would have everything within a week with his signature on the paper, I stayed calm not getting mad, but when I figure I pay more for a clip I should get everything mint and intact..either way .............As this is going on bucky decides to do my harness swap for me for the rb25, weeks go by I call and half the time no one answers , thats fine I understand people are busy but I do expect someone to call me back , I mean I did spend 6,700 with your guys shop......finally my dad is back in california again and I told him just to drop by and see if you can just pick the parts up , help them not spend money to ship it out since you are close, He gets my harness back but no parts, either way I get a harness back that looks like crap like a 3 year old did it and not one plug or harness was changed like we talked over the phone, just wiring hanging out some not even wrapped up......either way I send it off to get checked out from another supporting zilvia store and they could not belive he wanted me to pay for this work, either way it costed me 300$ to get it done the right way. Months go by and I hear the same thing over and over we will call you back when bucky gets back, this and this which is complete bullshit id rather you just say you dont have the part.........either way my car is still down 5 months later because they promised me to get in one week and im still waiting to start my car, I do not even know if my motor works .......This is the last time im dealing with you guys............I held off along time to see if they would pull through but they take my kindness for a weakness and think im prolly not going to do anything about it, either way ive prolly sold over 40 engines for you guys from all my friends and located from california, co, to ohio .................I know this sounds cheezy because im 25 but im not able to do it face to face, but you better have my parts ready by tomorrow my father is going to pick them up for me because im in ohio at work......either way I just want my parts and I will never call your shop or deal with you again.

I mean simple phone call and telling me they do not have the part, I would of understood, I would aleast know whats going on. Some reasons I have bad feeling about this motor being good, why would they start parting out a mint complete rb25det clip?

Some shops do it to make money or to finish or jobs. I personally I will die before parting out something good. But call them and ask why. Have heard good and bad things. But have had to fix alot of their problem cars. But that has been in the past I say 1year 1/2half

Ive been to rnd alot, I bought a distributor off them for 35 bucks. Got it back to my house, opened it up and the caps broken...

and they try to charge up the ass, if your not their homie you dont get a legit price.

the guys are nice/friendly but their just like every other shop just trying to hustle and get paid.
go with otis at rb, hell go out of his way to make sure his customers are happy.

I was in california for a vacation and visited their shop, they treated me well and I took their word for being honest people.........I should of took my money other places, once they get their money they do not care one bit, its easy to see that.

fuck R&D and fuck edward. they did the shittiest work and gave my buddy the shittiest motor when they did his swap.we made 3 trips back and forth to pick his car up. 2hrs both ways and every fucking time something on the car fucked up on the way home and he tried saying they cant do nothing about it!!!!

use paypal for payment ALWAYS as a buyer at least.......

ive gone through the hassles of non delivery of items and paypal allows disputes to ensure you get your shit or money back within a 30 day time period or some shit like that.......

just a word of the wise to hopefully protect other people in the future.....

oh and also an added note, as a seller make sure you have EVERY bit of paperwork cause ive also seen people scammed from paypal disputes

yea they failed pretty bad with my friend too. He payed for a black top motor and they have him a redtop with a black valve cover. Bastards still have his car. I told him i would help him do it but he said no. Problems problem problems!

Take your money other places, I am going to keep it simple to what my issue is now but its not the whole story, take your money to someone legit and cares about their people even if its a bit more money. Its worth it in the long run. I have a feeling this is not the end of the road with this car/ motor.
