how do i safely remove and replace cluster needles??

After you get the cluster out you remove the plastic cover, pull the needle strait about half way out then hold the shaft with a piar of needle nose. after holding it firmly remove the needle and replace with new one pointing in same posiition (remember to hold the shaft the whole time or the accuarcy of your gauge will be off.

What if I need to let go of the base? You see, I need to install a set of those glowing needle sets.
