Soooo I cannot figure out what rep power is, how it works etc. Can someone give me the rundown...

Ok. You say something smart, funny, useful, etc. and people like it or agree with you, they migth give you a posi rep. Thats green.

You make a stupid comment, thread, wrong info, or your being a jackass, someone might give you a neg rep.

You're more likely going to get neg reps than posi reps, because people are quicker to point out something stupid than something useful.

And however many rep points you have, divided by 100, is how many you can give someone.

I for example, have 400. That means I can give you 4 posi rep points.

On the other hand, if I neg rep you I can give you 2, or half of my rep divided by 100.

Depending on how many posts you have your rep power will kick in.

So let's say that you have 100 rep power and you positive rep someone then you give them one rep power.

If you negative rep someone then you take off 50 rep power from them.

That's pretty much it.

anyhow, its ok to ask questions. But just remember, theres a SEARCH button, and if you cant find it, try google before posing a question in a thread. that'll help you alot, and the community alot, because it cuts down on useless posts.
