Questions like this can usually be answered by the golden rule of "You get what you pay for."

SPL is made to be beat up. If you dont track your car hard or at all there really isnt any need for it other than peace of mind. Check out http://zilvia.net/f/polls/195191-spl-parts-version-3-arms-new-adjuster-info-poll.html
for more info.

Megan is more of an entry level component. I'm sure it would be just fine for a daily driver/spirited driver/weekend racer but there may be issues with fitment and overall quality.

Anyways SPL = Baller
Megan = Pretty ok.

the quality and construction is an obvious reason, also the ends are different quality and will end up lasting longer, i love the hiem joints that came with my spl arms. research them

The megan arms use lesser quality materials, less skilled labor, and cheap ass rod ends. I doubt the megan arms will break on you, but the rod ends will be sloppy almost immediately.

I've heard nothing but good things about SPL and PBM (Powered by Max) suspension components.

Megan on the other hand, not so much.

Megans rust like no other after a year. Someone on here got an arm that wasn't even welded all the way.

#1 the rod end
How to choose rod ends for your vehicle (http://www.automedia.com/Choosing_Rod_Ends/pht20020501re/1)

the megan rear toe arm also lacks the bend that gets you extra clearance with the subframe.

search for "megan quality" are compare the results for "spl quality"
You could've found this stuff on your own.

here are some reasons not to buy megan:

I have the Powered By Max arms both Camber and Toe, even the guy at the alignment shop was surprised on how beefy they are. i've been happy with them

I was looking at the PBM web site. Man that is a hard site to read with all that Japanese writing. My question now is the PBM ones do they have more of a bend on the toe arms than the SPL ones? I really like the PBM ones a lot. but I am still not sure what to get. it is just a project daily driver but only in the summer not getting drove in the winter.

I was interested in the PBM's as well but would like to see how tey compare to others like SPL, Kazama, Cusco or even megan racing.

Well no one has covered any except for SPL, PBM, Megan Racing. Everyone has said Megan Racing is not that good. But have not had anyone say anything bad about the other two.

I call BS. I've personally written reviews on Cusco and Kazama parts, and I've read reviews on Tanabe, JIC, and numerous others. Don't be so narrow minded as to think the information you're looking for will just fall in your lap, you actually have to look for it.

U CAN CALL BS all you want but what I was saying was that those were the ones that were covered in this thread. For your info I have been doing research. It is nice to see what everyone thinks considering that there are people out there that have used these and I am one that has not. The way to learn is to pick peoples minds and to research. Not trying to sound like an a**hole just dont care to have people call bs on me when they are not the ones sitting behind my computer screen looking at what I am.

There are MANY discussions on suspension arms and bearing selection in recent memory. You are not doing a good job of "researching". SPL and PBM are the top two favorites around here, that is why everyone keeps talking about them. I also like battle version and peak performance. Both are US companies and both use good bearings. Battle version's customer service is satisfactory, but not as good as SPL's. I hear that peak performance's customer service is crap, but have no personal experience with them. The bottom line is that you need to do more research, and not just here on zilvia. Google is your friend as well.

People always start a thread in hope that a cheap crappy part will be just as good/durable as a well known higher end product.

The answer will alwasy be the same, no.

The megan links are crap, and I wouldn't choose any company for linkages aside from Splparts.com or nissan.

That's it.
