My Gran Turismo 3 Video

I got the Dazzle video input thingy so I can record home movies to my hard drive and record TV shows. I just got it working right and this is just a video of me sliding around in Gran Turismo 3. Nothing special. The quality sucks but it's still 11.4MB somehow. I'm still trying to figure it out.

The first car is a 2100+ horsepower (w/Gameshark) two door Imprezza. I hit 245mph in 4th before I have to hit the brakes! haha.

The next is a 900+ horsepower 300ZX (didn't have to use Gameshark here!).

I have no video editing skills, I know this. But I'm just having fun.

Here's my setting for the 180 Fastback Type X. Although you should note the I've broken in the engine and now have an extra 15 hp (I'm at 349 hp for these parts).


Buy the best of everything except get Medium tires, only Stage 3 Turbo and only Stage 1 Weight Reduction.

Spring Rate: 6.3kgl/mm ------ 8.4kgl/mm
Ride Height: 102mm ---------- 102mm
Shock Bound: Level 5 --------- Level 2

thank you Bbandit. I used MovieStar5 but it doesn't have very good video editing though. I need to find a better program.

No problem on the settings. This video is better, I saw some pretty nice turns. Oh yeah, the quality is far superior.

the program i'm using is moviestar 5. it's very limited but i am going to try adobe premiere 6.5 tonight.

Okay.. maybe I'm doing something wrong here but I purchased a 180sx type x on the game and bought everything you said to buy. I'm more than 15hp off of what you said you have and I can't change my stuff to what you have!

The maximum limited-slip initial torque I can set is 60 and my gears will not come close to what you say you have

Sorry about that, I wrote down 4 wrong numbers. The Rear Spring rate should be 9.4 kgl/mm. The Rear Camber Angle should be 2.6. The Limited-slip Initial Torque should be 60 and final gear ratio should be 32.

As for the power of the car, don't forget to do an oil change when you purchase the car. Also, mine has 349 hp with the Stage 3 Turbo Kit, your's should start out at 339 hp.

The 15 hp difference is for if you have the Stage 4 Turbo Kit installed. Mine has 500 hp and you should start with 485 hp.

Here they all are the right way. Also you should note that in some of the videos I used the Stage 4 Turbo Kit instead of the Stage 3 Turbo Kit just incase you were wondering.

Here's my newest video. It has the 2000+ hp Imprezza and 900+ hp 300ZX like the first video (except a little edited), a 670+ hp Miata, and a 455 hp Altezza RS200 brake torque-ing and spinning around on the wet course.

I got new software that Kidynomite suggested and I actually did some editing instead of pressing the record and stop button as a form of editing. This time it's in .wmv format, so please right click and save. My new hosting company is going to hate me :D

It's about 2:28 and the song is Know Where to Run by Orbital. I wanted to use the metal song again but this song might appeal to more people.
