"wah wah nascar is left turn driving wah"
all better drivers than you, and definitely fun to watch at the track.

fun to watch ONLY at tracks like sears point, where drivers with the skill AND flexibility to turn both directions win. otherwise its just a show. more of an advertisement for home depot and whatever viagra-type of boner pill is popular this month than a form of racing.
and when did i ever say that i was a skilled driver in any form. me comparing my skill level to theirs is like me saying "i'll bet joe namath is a better quarterback than kyle busch", but thats equally irrelevant to this discussion.
the only reason to go to a nascar event imho is for the drunk hot white chicks with a strong tendency towards public removal of clothings.

Nascar is about as much fun to watch as a political debate in foreign language.

To each their own. Not my personal cup of tea. They cheated, guranteed not the first, guranteed not the last. They will get fined some slap on the wrist penalty,
Nascar will make a statement of how they dont condone cheating and all that bull the cars that cheated will say they sorry and continue racing. Done.

people have been cheating in nascar for ages... they call it competitive edge..... nothing new lol. When you race a spec car you have to find a way to better your equipment.

They will probably penalize them the standard 100 points but being that it is in the nationwide cup, it doesn't matter.
I think it's borderline cheating. They were told to reduce their horsepower and techincally they did but it's also something that is removable so there is no telling when they put it in the car.

For the magnet thing yeah i heard bout this yesterday...
Dont really get it but okay..
magnet under the gas pedal??

It acts like a spacer so you can't push the pedal down all the way. The thing that makes it "cheating" is that it is a magnet, it can be taken out as opposed to if they welded in a piece of sheet metal.

That is just stupid, "cut 15 hp from your engine". WTF? It's not like he hooked no2 up to it. The guy just builds better engines. I don't really blame him for trying to mask the horsepower by limiting how far the gas pedal could go with a magnet. Nascaar is boring because all the cars are the same. Let them change it up a little and actually compete...maybe even throw some opposite turns into the mix :keke:

I like watching the road races

I like all of the races but the road courses are awesome to watch. The last road course the nationwide series did was in the rain. They actually had to install wipers during a pitstop.

NASCAR road races are the saddest excuse for a race I've ever seen. I watched one for about 8 minutes on SPEED the other day before I had to change it because it was ridiculous.
I saw more off roading, crashing, and general hi-jinx during that race then at a beginner's track day/demolition derby.
As for the cheating... Meh. I woulda done it too. After engineering the shit out of a motor they tell me to cut 15 hp off? Yeah, easier to just put something under the pedal than to rip the whole damn thing apart and start over.

Some of the road races show more skill than left turn shit that's why i like it but i'm a road race driver too so i guess thats why i like it
