hey guys a buddy of mine just replaced the battery on his 350z and now when he starts the car it stubles and dies. the only way it will stay on is if he revs it when he starts it then it will idle just fine. Sounds weird to me, i thought maybe because he did use a memory saver like on some of the other newer cars. but I never heard of this problem on nissans. have you guys had a similar problem thanks in advance guys

check your connections and make sure its the right capacity batt.

sounds like not enough cranking amps.

His old battery should have a number underneath CA and CCA

Thats cranking amps, and cold cranking amps. If the numbers dont match, tell him to get a battery that does have matching numbers.

Did they charge the battery for him when he bought it?

its not the cca. you can start a car on 200 cold cranking amps. you can start a chevy 454 with 200 cca. not the batt.

Bad battery perhaps, bought one a couple years ago that was bad from the store. Of course check all your connections. Bad ground could do it.
