It made a 405rwhp at 16psi tuned by Steve Kan tuned this year
I have video, pictures, and dyno sheet of the tune.
I have put over 26k into this car and I have receipts for it.


The bad:
-Im pretty sure the apex seal on the rear rotor is cracked
-The Mazdaspeed GTC on the car is not mounted correctly and unpainted.
-Front part of the fenders are bent about an inch
-As you can tell the exterior needs some work.. but isnt a big deal.

The car still runs and drives! but the apex seal needs to be replaced

I had a large FMIC before... these SMIC are 3 times more efficient (not to mention cost 2 times more) than any FMIC for street/track use. On my PowerFC the intake temps on this SMIC is 12-18C less than my FMIC.

thats not a cheap fix, if apex are gone more is probly needed to be done
yes r1 came with no sunroof, ony touring, r2 came with it, unless its a special order.
you should just part out on rx7 club, you will get more money for what u got

you have no idea lol sidemounts on rotarys can be much better then front mounts let alone that, and having shorter piping route.

Yea R1's didnt come with sunroofs. From the looks of the gauge cluster, its a 93. Sunroof was not an option for the R1's, they were sold just as an R1. Kan tuned, nice.

its not side mount. its stock mount intercooler. fds came with cooler in front of engine, not side, there for its stock mount intercooler. and if its just pure track car its better to run front mount unless your running a v setup.

the reason alot of rx7 owners prefer a stock mount is because alot of the time front mounts can couse heat soke, in stop and go traffic.

anyways nice car.rebuild will run around 1000 less if its only replacing the seals. with the mods to this car its well worth 9-10k.

Yup, its not an R1. Most likely a touring. with some r1 seats. No r1 came with a sunroof and every r1 came with a wing. Good luck, nice car.
