Tein HE will fit on stock wheels without spacers.

o.k people. What the heck are spacers?
Do they make your wheels stick out more? Is that what they do?

pchio is right. tein he fit fine w/o spacer. i used to use both stock steelies and se wheels w/ my s13 tein he. used 205/60 and 195/60/15 tires and cleared fine. you dont need spacers for them

Stock offset for 240SX wheels is about +40mm. Fitting wider tires than stock with coilovers requires wheels with a lower offset (so that the wheel sits further out) to clear the spring.

what if the suspension only has lowering springs and your offset was +38, would that work? I only want lowering springs.

moose, you didnt read that article

OFFSET ONLY MATTERS WITH WHEEL WIDTH

+38 on what?
7"?
15"? there's a huge difference. you gotta be specific. width, offset AND spoke design all play a roll in clearance issues

O.k dousan36, here we go.

I want a set of "16 off the shelf konig absolutes or ADR's, with the offset +40 or less, also I have an Eibach lowered suspension. (spoke design for Konig Absolutes is 8 spokes) Will this work or do I need spacers? There's your info, now please give me your opinion.

my advice. dotn buy them
konig is sh*t brand. knock off company.
the wheels are front wheel drive (meaning honda type setup-though some rwd cars have those offsets)

you want spacers? id say 10 mm to clear stuff
i'd say 30mm to make it look DECENT

dont buy POS wheels and spacers to fit. you should buy wheels that ALREADY fit and look good for your car.

that's my .02 cents

i dontmean to be a jerk about it, but dont waste your money for something that wasnt intended to be on your car in the first place.

o.k then, give some examples of rims that are made to be on my car.
I'm not spending over a thousand on frigin rims (can. $), and I want something like the ADR Sokudo's or the Konig Absolutes. If you can't give me anything reasonable, than you are just running your mouth. You never said one thing about my offset question on whether a +40 or less would fit a 5 lug, so now give me some examples of rims that were supposedly made for my car.
I want what you think looks good and isn't OZ type expensive.

May I just point out that moose, you still haven't given us a wheel width to work with. You only said want a set of "16 off the shelf konig absolutes or ADR's, with the offset +40 or less.

That said, you will likely end up with a 16x7 since konig and adr don't make any decently wide wheels (16x7 is the "bare minimum" for 16" wheels)... and while +40 will fit without problem, it will look like poop. (my 16x7 +35s already look terrible)

I would suggest something like 16x8 +30 or so if you want it to fit nicely. Volk Racing, SSR, Advan, Work and Watanabe all make very good wheels, and the Kosei K1 was also a good wheel that you might still be able to find.

okay...TEIN HE will fit. ANyone know if Apex WS will fit stock s13 7 spoke alloys?

they should fit. my JIC FLT-A2s fit with stock steelies (205/55/15 and 195/60/15), with about 1/2 inch to spare.
