These are instructions on how to install an S13 differenetial. This is a relatively easy task which should only take 2-4 hours depending on skill and help.

The tools you will need are:
- A ratchet (I/2 inch will be better for leverage)
- 12, 14, and 17 milimeter sockets
- 12 and 14 milimeter wrenches or a cresent wrench
- A long extension (1 1/2 - 2 ft)
- screw driver
- some sort of jack ( hydraulic would be best)
- lug wrench
- pair of jack stands

1. Start by lossening the rear lugnuts on both wheels

2. Now jack the car up and place jack stands on both sides toward the rear of the car

3. Take both rear wheels off (this will give you more room to work)

4. Put the car in gear and unbolt the four 14 milimeter bolts on the end of the drive shaft connecting it to the diff. Make sure to put one bolt back in loosly so that the diff does not spin when you unbolt the axels(you may have to put the car in nuetral to rotate the drive shaft to get to the top bolt)

5. Next unbolt the six 12 milimeter bolts holding the axel to the right side of the diff. (you will need to use your long extension for this) Pull the bolt out of the drive shaft and rotate the axel to get to the rest of the bolts.

6. After you have finished the right side do the same on the left axel unbolting the six 12 milimeter bolts (be sure to disengage the e-brake)

7. Next unbolt the four 14 milimeter bolts holding the sway bar to the frame

Reinstallation

1. Place the diff on a jack and position it where it should be under the car

2. Raise the jack into place(you may have to move the axles out of the way

3. Pull the jack and diff towards the rear of the car until the four bolts on the back of the diff go through the holes in the sub frame
