Ohio Burger King worker takes bath in utility sink

XENIA, Ohio - Burger King Corp. said Tuesday it has parted ways with an employee who was recorded taking a soapy bath in the restaurant's utility sink. The nearly four-minute video, which was posted Thursday on MySpace.com (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/ap/ap_on_fe_st/storytext/odd_fast_food_worker_bath/28578391/SIG=10k45jclt/*http://MySpace.com), shows the unidentified employee taking the bath to celebrate his birthday.

The worker, who refers to himself as "Mr. Unstable," appears to be naked.
Burger King spokeswoman Denise Wilson said two employees involved in the incident were fired and another quit. She declined to identify the employees or say whether the man who took the bath quit or was fired.
The sink is used to clean large pieces of equipment, said Greene Health Commissioner Mark McDonnell. Bacteria or viruses on the skin could have potentially contaminated equipment, but there have been no reports of any customers becoming ill.
McDonnell said he dispatched an inspector to the restaurant, but at that point the restaurant had sterilized the sink.
Miami-based Burger King, the nation's No. 2 hamburger chain, said in a statement that it also disposed of all kitchen tools and utensils used in the incident and is retraining the staff in health and sanitation procedures.
Xenia is about 15 miles east of Dayton.

I saw the video on the news and it didnt bother me. He used a shit ton of soap, and I'm sure they use bleach/soap etc. when cleaning their equipment, so the shit is clean regardless. Who cares? Somebody did a test on lemons in water at fancy sit down restaurants and found fecal matter on the fucking lemons, at more than one restaurant. I understand BK needs to save face but people need to relax.

i can honestly say, out of all the food places ive worked at, cosmos has to be the cleanest.

we dont fuck with anyone's food there. everyone working with food is super laid back and out customers never seem to act like complete retards.

ive been there for weeks now and i havent had the urge to spit in ANYTHING

edit: i was working at a wards burger joint in gulfport ms. we made a video of my boy getting hosed down with old grease out the grease tub while he scrubbed himself with a head of lettuce. and the vat used for making root beer was stored open side up/no lid next to the mop hanger.
