Ok I have the symptoms of when I come to a stop and I apply brakes the car's idle dips real low and the engine shakes as if it were to stall soon.
I have not cleaned the iacv yet. I will probably do that in the morning. I didn't make a whole thread just for that though. Because the whole going to stall thing also happens when I press the window button.
Like say for an example the window is already rolled up, and if I press down on the button to make it go up my idle dies down in an identical manner like the dirty iacv symptoms. It also does it after the car is warm and I am just sitting there and press on the brakes. It's like my electrical system is taking a huge load when those things happen.
I'm wondering if it is some sort of grounding/electrical issue or maybe my alternator? When the engine is cold it doesn't do it and I am assuming it's because it's idling higher to warm up. Buuut if it was an electrical issue shouldn't it still attempt to drop idle even if the idle is higher?
Has anyone had this happen before?
