I grew up watching Dragon ball z and some Gt.
I was just wondering who else was a fan of the show and what was your favorite episodes/saga and also your fav character.

Let me start off with fav saga, witch was the frieza saga because thats when goku turn super sayin and frieza was one of the most hardest enemys goku had at the time.:] ,and my fav character was always goku because hes always calm and he always likes a challenge=]

Wow. I remember watching DBZ on Cartoon Network
after school.

Favorite was Gohan and Vegeta.
Favorite saga was the Frieza one as well.

Never watched DB or DB GT.

DBGT failed in every way.

I started watching these when my japanese relatives use to tape them off tv and send them to me when I was younger.

I hated watching it on TV though, the storyline/commercials
were so spread far apart, it sorta dragged on. Watching them
online without commercials were the best.

My favorite good guy is Tien and my 2 favorite bad guys were the clown android, android 15 i think, and majin Boo.
The best saga by far is the Cell saga though. Holy crap the action on that was awesome. I'm waiting for the sagas to come out on blu-ray.

my favorite character was trunks. especially when he first showed up and killed frieza and his pops, then had that mini-fight with goku. that was bad ass. also when he blasted vegeta because of some disagreement (i forget what).

next favorite was definitely vegeta. i always thought piccolo and krillin were cool too. i only thought gohan was cool when he wasnt a huge pussy- ie: cell games.

goku also always did some gnarly shit, so ya gotta love him.

Man, I used to go to the flea market to pick up the movies on VHS with jap sub titles and really crap quality second hand recordings. I loved the brolly movies and the first three movies. I remember listening to that old school fight music like on the garlic jr movie (#3 iirc). Then I bought the whole frieza saga on tape cause I wanted to own it...what a waste of money haha. Now I don't even have a vcr and I could just download it in an hour.

I think everything up to the frieza saga was really good, after that it dropped off and became the same old thing over and over.

I love all of them DB, DBZ, DBGT, i used to watch just DBZ on cartoon network back in the day i guess thats why my least fav saga is frieza cause they continually played it over and over, then i got everything on bootleg dvd and watched all the eps from beginning of db to gt and it still holds a special place in my heart. Favorite characters are Gohan and Goku.

I biked hope like a madman as fast as I could to watch 30 mins of "AHHHHHHHHHHH" powering up, skip it the next day, and when I watch the day after, goku is dead with the world destroyed or something.

yah i would have done that too but the show started late for me. the only think i hated about cartoon network showing dbz is the comercial. the whole show wouldnt even last that long and the comercials would all be long and stuff. so that was pretty gay i would say.

I read that the makers of the show did that on purpose as filler to fill time because back when it came out in japan toriyama was still writing the manga
