My driverside headlight low beam is not working. When i activate it into high beam mode, then it works w/ the high beam bulb on too @ the same time. but when its low beam, it dont work by itself. Anyone know whats goin on or had this problem before?

well, i thot it was a blown bulb, but then when i put my hi beams on, it works. thats why i was thinkin if it was a blown bulb, why would it turn on with the hi beams on?

You should open it and have a look before doubting. I believe 240s have a seperate bulb for low/high beams. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeh, they are seperate. But when i activate my hi beams, both bulbs would work. Not just the hi-beams, but low beams too>

The outside light on S14's are H4's which are dual hi/lo....you have a blown bulb...buy a new one and it will be fine.

Yeah, the H4 bulbs are dual filament (one operates your when low beams are on, one when high beams are on). Sounds like the filament for the low beams went bad. Replace the bulb and see what happens, if the problem stays, then something else is wrong, but try the obvious first.
