Maybe I need to remind people that none of us 626DRIFT guys got any good on the streets. We learned how to drift on the track. Every once in awhile we will go to a super remote spot like last weekend.

But sont expect this to happen when you hit up the meet. Its rare. the meet is to chill, meet people, trade/buy parts, talk shop, learn, and talk about what needs to be done to your car to get it ready for the next 626DRIFT event.

yea close calls give me strenght to try harder .... but i wasnt planning on driving last night and that was my first time actually slididng on 205/15's in a 90whp car lol .. next time i'll put on my 14's and that will eliminate any understeer along the way

The running got contageous. Plus me and the guys I was with parked all the way in the end of that closed street. That distance would have taken more than one minute to cover just walking at a leasurlly pace.

If I was that cop and saw someone just walking I would see that as a cocky attitude. I'd say "Hurry up and clear the area!"

You NEED to learn on the track first.
And since we all know each other, your gonna have to do what we all did, and introduce yourself. And then the next week, come over and say hi, and the next week, and then next thing you know everyone remembers your name and says whats up.
And come to the events, there fun, non competitive and really friendly!!

Yeah, I dont send the invites out, its not my job. Only one guy does the invites, its his spot. But I think with the spot being 15 minutes away, ....you dont need to be dedicated to go.
