So Im sitting at work bored out of my mind. Im getting ready to send out my ecu to get tuned at Enthalpy. Wont be able to get on a dyno for atleast the next 2 months. What can I expect with this stock T28?
Car is a 95 Nissan 240sx.
Engine is SR20DET S14 Kouki Blacktop (NA ecu)
Turbo is stock T28.
Here are my mods: Denso 550's, Walboro FP, Nismo FPR, Z32 MAFS, Apexi Cone Filter, ARP Head Studs, Cosworth 1.1mm HG, BC Valve Springs, Greddy RAS, HKS Step 2 264's, Greddy Profec B, HKS Type S FMIC, HKS SSQ bov, Megan 02 housing, Blitz 3" DP, HT 3" TP, HKS Super Drager 95mm. Can I expect numbers close to 300whp once I get my Enthalpy ecu???
Where should I set my LO and HI boost settings??
I am also concerned with the size of my HKS exhaust. I have the 95mm version. Looks like 3" mid pipe into 3.5" or 3.7" axle-back. Is that too big? Do I need more back pressure?
If the wife lets me use the credit card, I'll order a GT2871r, possibly even a GT35r kit. This stock T28 will have to do for now.
Sorry if this post sounds noobish. Just need to get an idea. Ive read about numbers ranging from 250whp - 280whp. On youtube there is an sr20det on a stock T28 pushing a bit over 300whp with an AEM EMS though.
Thanks in advance guys.

I dont know about the power but i know that turbos never need back pressure, to much back pressure could damage them i think.

Don't use a credit card on cars.
If you want to see higher numbers don't go to a dyno dynamics or you will cry.

I'll pretty much +1 whats been said above.
Credit cards on cars is dumb.
Dyno Dynamics have REALISTIC read-outs. Handy if you want to know what power your really pushing but if you want to impress your mates pick another dyno. It'll over-read and be wrong but it'll sound good in the bar.
Finally I wouldn't get caught up in chasing numbers if I were you, if the car feels good to drive thats all that matters. Chasing numbers is a mugs game and usually ends up in an expensive rebuild.

the t28 will get you close to 300 at the wheels with those upgrades t othe fue lsystem. basically the fue lsystem is the only thing holing the sr back and you have upgraded all of that.
and i agree wit hthese guys dont usea credit card to pay for your build. save those for emergencies

Cool. Thanks for the input guys. Credit card issue has been taken care of. The wife said "No!" So thats that. Normally I'll use the CC to front maybe $1k then pay it off within 3 months for no interest.
Yeah I know better than to dyno on just about any load-based dyno. DynoJet is more of what Im looking for to ensure bragging rights with my buddies.
My other question is, where should I set my LO and HI setting on my Profec B?? Ive heard the stock T28 is out of its efficiency range around 15-16 psi. There is a video of an s14 on a stock T28 ut BPU and AEM EMS running high 12's. Guy claims 308whp and 343 tq http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=J7ozuL5ZHvo&fromurl=/watch%3Fv%3DJ7ozuL5ZHvo (http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=J7ozuL5ZHvo&fromurl=/watch%3Fv%3DJ7ozuL5ZHvo)
Not saying I will push this type of power. Just looking for some comments, suggestions. Thanks again guys.

You missed my point dude. I was saying don't bother using any other dyno but a DD one if you want real figures. Otherwise you may aswell stick your head out your drivers window as you accelerate and guess how powerful it feels - 350hp kerrrrrching.

Oh ok I see. As long as the car drives well and feels responsive thats ok with me. The only concern with numbers is for bragging purposes. Its a competition between my buddy and I. We've been competing for years with anything we do. I hear what you're saying though DD or load-based will give me REAL numbers. Well I think Ive gotten my answer.
Oh yeah, only question I still have is my boost settings on my Profec B.
LO and HI....what should I set them to after I get my ecu back from Enthalpy??
