it isnt nissan related, but i want advice from the people i trust with my own car always...

the engine in question is a toyota 1zzfe 1.8L
it was overbored and is now 1.93L with wiseco pistons
the stock compression ratio was 10:1 and is currently because of the wiseco's 11.5:1

the big question is... how can i lower that compression, why? the owner wants to go turbo
wants to run a t25 turbo(stock s13 SR/300zx turbo really) at only 8psi with tune, he will be running a knocklight just in case... everythng else is taken care for already just that compression problem which i dont think is safe for ANY type of boost...

besides lowering a tiny bit with HG what else could i do? stacking headgaskets isnt really a option not trusting that on this engine

are the wiseco pistons well dishable? (lol crazy idea yeah but this is a last resort)

anything else i can do?... first time ive had to deal with somebody that wants a turbo engine after getting high compression pistons its giving me headacke...

thanks in advance and in case any of you care about this +rep to any opinion or idea that could help

Your safest bet would be to get some lower compression pistons. Who purchased the pistons and overbored the block? If it was like that when you got it, just tell the owner he's asking for too much. Dishing the pistons would weaken them leading to other problems. Just start over with lower compression pistons and rebore the block to fit the new pistons.

Try to sell the wiseco's if they haven't been used for long and get dished pistons.

Is there a head that has a bigger combustion chambers available for that motor? But then again pop top pistons aren't the best choice for FI with hot spots and whatnot.

Lowering compression by getting low compression pistons and get a cometic head gasket.
